200 Livingston Getting its Cladding

img0042.jpg

The quiet but impressive tower going up at 200 Livingston (a.k.a. 189 Schermerhorn) is taking on its final character, a modern, silvery-grey look that is pleasingly similar to the project’s rendering. Meanwhile, the developer’s website has dubbed the project “Be@Schermerhorn”–an odd choice, we think, especially since it translates into the following aggressive-sounding url: beatschermerhorn.com (not online yet). We prefer the classy-sounding 200 Livingston, for the record.

This building’s 214 condos will have “state-of-the-art fitness room, lounge, screening room, public terrace, planted courtyard, private roof terraces, bicycle room and private laundry facilities all serviced by wireless internet.” Sounds pretty nice.
