There’s a new burger option in Brooklyn–Five Guys Famous Burgers & Fries, known in DC and Philly, set up shop this summer in Brooklyn Heights at 138 Montague. Eat your heart out, because the burgers come with a wide assortment of free toppings. The double cheeseburger is delicious and satisfying and not too filling, no mean feat. The only thing that could beat this would be a Shake Shack in Cadman Plaza.

  1. A shake shack in Cadman Plaza would make megabucks….

  2. I second the shake shack idea! How can we make it happen?

  3. I just went to the Five Guys in Tysons Corner, Virginia and the burger was dry and tasteless. I found out why it was dry when I watched the person making the burgers smash the burgers on the grill repeatedly. The smashing of the burgers with a big “press” takes all of the juices from the meat and you are left with a very dry burger. I also detect a change in the tase of the beef…I think they are using a different beef then they used to use.
