NewYorkology has a cool feature today on the options around the city for kayaking. The city is building a dozen more launches to make it easier to get out on the water. One dock that caught our eye–if you don’t want to ferry out to Governors Island there is a kayak dock open on weekends. We’ve never been that close to the Hudson or harbor water, but it would surely come with some stunning city views. Check out the Downtown Boathouse for more info.
