Bklyn Designs, which bills itself as “New York’s only curated design show open to the trade and public,” and which is co-sponsored by Two Trees, is celebrating its fifth year this year and will include a panel on May 11 entitled “Landmark Meets Modern in Brooklyn,” a case study of 110 Livingston’s conversion from Board of Ed to luxury condos.

The lineup should prove interesting: muralist Richard Haas, architect Ismael Leyva, Jed Walentas, and a partner from Beyer Blinder Belle, Michael Wetstone. For you real estate design junkies or those looking to buy there is also an “Art Meets Design” party at Forte Condos, another co-sponsor. Nice creative marketing all around.
