		<description>I saw this &quot;vertical farming&quot; concept on an architecture blog several weeks ago. It will be nearly useless for growing plants, let alone food crops.

Unless they&#039;re planning to rotate the entire building, it will not &quot;allow maximum light into the center&quot;. Anyone who looks at how plants grow in a greenhouse can see this. The plants will lean toward the south side of the building, pressing themselves against the glass, to maximize the light they get. This design is even worse, since upper floors shade the lower floors. 

This is an architecture student project, and it shows.</description>
